  • When you say that you can't receive phone calls from Verizon, are you referring to the wireless carrier, or your cell phone contacts who use Verizon for their cellular service?
  • Are you still able to make phone calls to Verizon/Verizon users?
  • What happens exactly when these callers try to reach you over the phone?
  • Also, are they getting any error messages?

Just specific Verizon customers but now also some a&tt customers

Problem started one day when could not receive various calls by the next day I was not receiving any calls could still call out still send and receive texts could still get data from any number after a new SIM card several attempts to refresh network settings checking all other settings unassigning the primary number and reassigning the primary number still unable to receive any calls.

the new SIM card was put into a brand new Google pixel 4 and other working AT&t phones and still unable to receive any calls on the primary number finally a check unassigned my primary number and switch it to a new number after switching it to the new number he was unable to put it back to my primary number so now the number on my SIM card in my phone is not my primary number it is apparently porting calls to my primary number and some calls are being received but not all calls.

Currently I'm not receiving calls from particular Verizon and AT&t colors most T-Mobile colors are getting through. At this point it's very frustrating that I'm not receiving all calls my thought is to get a whole new number to ensure that I would receive all calls but getting a new number is very problematic and difficult to make the transition. It appears that AT&t is having trouble porting calls to my primary number like someone cloned it or some other network tried to assign numbers or canceled it each Network gives a different recording when failing to make the call like not dial correctly or not a working number or out of order.

at this point I'm not sure what numbers are getting through and what or not I just keep getting various colors let me know that my phone is not working but in all cases no matter what network I am able to text them send and receive and I'm looking forward to this problem being resolved without having to get a whole new number.

Just to clarify, did you try the troubleshooting steps? What was the outcome?

Also, was your number ported from another carrier or originally an AT&T number?

Hi I have Verizon and whenever I try to call my friend who has AT&T I get sent straight to voicemail and now my text messages are not even going through. And whenever my friend who has AT&T tries to call me 90% of the time he is sent to voicemail as well and we both do not get notifications of the other calling. What can be done on either end to fix this? It didn't start happening until October.
